The Feast of Transfiguration

On Saturday, August 6, 2011 His All-Holiness celebrated the feast of the Transfiguration of our Lord at the Patriarchal and Stavropegic Monastery of the Transfiguration in Prinkipos (Buyukada). His All-Holiness blessed and distributed grapes after the Divine Liturgy. His Eminence Metropolitan Michael of Austria also attended the service and addressed the congregation. A reception followed at the administrative offices of the Metropolis of the Princes Islands, where His All-Holiness was welcomed by the local Metropolitan, His Eminence Metropolitan Iakovos.
