Appointment of H.E. the Maronite Archbishop of Cyprus Mgr Youssef Soueif by His Holiness the Pope Benedict XVI

Following an official announcement from the Vatican on Saturday 24.4.2010, the Maronite Archbishop of Cyprus Mgr Youssef Soueif was appointed by His Holiness the Pope Benedict XVI Special Secretary to the forthcoming Special Assembly for the Middle East of the Synod of Bishops which will be held at the Vatican next October. We quote below the relevant News bulletin from the Vatican.
