By cutting the tape, mgr. Siluan (Span), bishop of the Rumanian Orthodox Church of Italy (enthroned in May this year), will finally settle in the new premises in Rome, where the secretariat and the different offices will then be relocated. The building - explains to SIR father Ioan Lupastean, spokesman of the Rumanian Orthodox diocese in Italy - was bought with the double contribution of the Rumanian government and the Patriarchate of Romania. The premises had been blessed last September 7th with a liturgy, which had also been attended by the President of Romania, Traian Basescu.
